Amateur football players, coaches, managers and club officials flocked to NEC Birmingham last weekend to take part in Grass Roots Football Live, UK's largest show of its kind. Professional tips and tricks; masterclasses on player development; dribbling, passing and shooting trainings; appearances by well-known players and high-profile managers such as Graham Taylor, Tony Carr and Adam Curbishley; all made Grass Roots Football both entertaining and informative. And with over 150 specialist suppliers setting up shop at the NEC, the players had everything needed to take their game to the next level in one place.

Aztec supplied a large soundsystem with 12 Martin F10 speakers to the main ERREA Coaching Area, where coaches held training sessions and provided expert advice to the stars of the future. The coaches were also given radio headsets and hand-held microphones in order to be able to move around the pitch effortlessly.

grassroots 4Aztec also provided audiovisual equipment for several stands, and for each of the Boot, Player, Club and Coaches Development seminar theatres, where top players and coaches held lively debates and dispensed valuable advice. We also provided a CyberPod for the Manchester United Soccer School.

Aztec’s techs worked tirelessly to make sure all the sessions and events went as planned and were kept within budget. Grass Roots Football Live turned out to be a hugely popular show, educating and entertaining both the young and the old.
