B2B Awards
The brief was simple; create a stunning awards show at Emirates Stadium that would give guests a memorable and lasting experience of the evening’s events. The solution, however, was anything but simple in that it also involved moving 850 guests safely around the stadium!
The strategy we adopted was a ‘one team’ approach by taking the lead in the planning and operational stages with the providers of other services at the stadium (e.g. catering, security etc.). This ensured that even with the logistical challenges and the resultant health and safety issues of the event, everything was meticulously planned.
Providing an effective stage solution was difficult. We needed to optimise the use of space in the room by providing a stage solution that allowed enough space for tables and service in the room whilst ensuring that all the guests were comfortably accommodated with a clear and unencumbered view of the event. This also meant integrating our own equipment with the venues fixed infrastructure and screens.
We decided to use a simple stage set but add depth and excitement during the show with a stunning lighting system throughout all rooms. The space had to be multifunctional to include an exhibition space, disco area and “chill out” area whilst leaving enough room for full bar and table service. Our knowledge and experience in the venue proved invaluable as this allowed us to advise the client with absolute confidence about the practicality and functionality of each area, together with any issues that the client might experience and, therefore, needed to mitigate.
Our Creative Services division took on the task of pre-produced by transforming videos in a way that gave exposure for sponsors and showed exciting event branding. These were used throughout the show with great effect.
The result was a huge success. Without exception, every guest had a clear view of the event through I-MAG images on the main screens and all LCD screens around the room. The lighting system allowed us to instantly change the colours of the entire room at the touch of a button whilst creating contrasting colours on the stage set.
And the client? They were absolutely delighted!
